Works by Bach, Couperin and Boismortier in versions for two harpsichords.
After recording the Art of Fugue, by J. S. Bach, harpsichordists Ana Cecilia Tavares and Marcelo Fagerlande present their new CD, with works by J. S. Bach, F. Couperin and J. B. de Boismortier, in new versions for two harpsichords. The new album includes a transcription of the Brandenburg Concerto No. 6, the Concerto in C major for two harpsichords in its original version, both by Bach; L’Apothéose de Corelli, considered a "monument" in the ensemble of Couperin's works and a transcription of the Chaconne, extracted from Boismortier's opera Don Quichotte.
